Miss Representation – Sundance Film

Watch and let’s discuss changing the landscape of media. “You can’t be what you can’t see.” — Marie Wilson, Founding President, The White House Project

The documentary Miss Representation, by Jennifer Siebel Newsom, premiered at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival, and aired on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network. It will re-air Dec. 9th at 2/1 CT.

The film explores how the media’s misrepresentations of women have led to the underrepresentation of women in positions of power and influence.
