Podcasts are great motivators for fitness

Grab your iphone, plug in the earbuds and let’s get motivated to live a healthier lifestyle. One of my favorite fitness tools is listening to podcasts. I listen in the car, while taking the dogs for walks, and on my lunch hour. They are informative and motivating, and I want to share three of my favorites. Check them out and let’s discuss.

  • Inside Out Weight Loss: Aligning Mind, Body and Spirit for Lasting Change. Hosted by Renee Stephens, life coach and hypnotherapist, is found on iTunes or directly from her website. Her approach isn’t about the food you eat; it is more about transforming your relationship with what’s between your ears. You should start at episode one, as these build on each other, and start your transformation today.  http://personallifemedia.com/podcasts/216-inside-out-weight-loss
  • The Jillian Michaels Podcast. I’m a fan of Jillian’s and eagerly wait to when she uploads a new podcast (Mondays). She is very funny and entertaining. She’s no-nonsense and is an expert at motivation! You can find the show on iTunes or at her website.http://www.jillianmichaels.com/fit/daily-dose-podcast-radio
  • Fat2Fit Radio, hosted by Russ Turley and Jeff Ainslie, is unfortunately not recording new shows. However, they have a great website and you can hear past shows on iTunes or at their website. They advocate weight loss through lifestyle change. My favorite mantra from them is: Stop eating and acting like a fat person and start emulating the diet and habits of a fit person. http://www.fat2fitradio.com/category/podcast
