Who has time to write more

I don’t read Spanish, but if I did…

Buenos Aires, Argentina, here I come! Specifically, the El Ateneo Grand Splendid bookstore. Oh, how I love a bookstore! Quaint and charming or big and elaborate. I love the smell of them and the zen feeling I get when I walk through the doors. Even if all the books are in Spanish, I know that I’d spend a few hours here.

The El Ateneo used to be a theater but now showcases books in the balconies and seating areas. Very splendid indeed.

This is amazing. I found on a fellow bloggers page and have now added this place to my bucket list of future vacations. And I do read spanish so I would fit right in here! 🙂

    • Katie – lucky you! Maybe I should buy a Rosetta Stone Spanish course…..

      • Fabulous place! 🙂 Gale, I featured you in my latest post… check it out! Also I would not recommend Rosetta Stone all language professors warn against it that I have in University, etc. and natural speakers too. It is a waste and it just is repetitive and it does not teach proper inflection and pronunciation. Just a word of caution (:

  6. Hi Cynthia – the store definitely puts a smile on your face. Happy Friday!

  7. My goodness! I would love to go there! I dream of someday visiting the most grand libraries all over the world. Just seeing books makes me happy. 🙂 Hope someday to have my own book in libraries! Thank-you for sharing!

  8. Sarah, If you can dream you, you can make it a reality! Keep dreaming.
