  1. I’m rooting for Django Unchained for best picture. I love Quentin Tarentino

  2. Hi Gluten Free… I loved that movie, too. Saw it twice within four days. Bummed Quentin was overlooked with a director’s nod. But, he did receive a nomination for his original screenplay (brilliant), and as fellow writers, let’s cheer him on!

  3. I am hoping that Silver Lining Playbook gets some love. Bradley Cooper is a great young actor. Loved him in The Words. I believe it will be the year of Lincoln. I enjoyed the movie. I think that having Abe Lincoln moving, talking and alive is going to give the movie great momentum in the voting. He is just to loved and respected figure in our history. And the movie is well done. Plus Steven Spielberg. Just my humble opinion.

    • Mindofshoo,
I thought Bradley Cooper stood out for his performance in SLP. I’m a fan of both Joaquin Phoenix and Phillip Seymour Hoffman, but did not see the movie, The Master. The trailer shows what looks like dynamic performances on both their parts. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fJ1O1vb9AUU). And I agree with you on Lincoln; Spielberg and Daniel Day-Lewis also deserve wins in their categories. It was a GREAT movie season!
