Snacks should be for days that start with the letter “S”. That is a saying my grandmother used all the time when we would ask for snacks as kids. She was right but there are so many tasty snacks! I know I should wait for the next mealtime or have a piece of fruit but the salty and sweet snacks are everywhere and so mindless to munch while working at the computer. Until I found something new, now I can have my crunchy snack and fruit.
Freeze dried fruit is my favorite way to get a crunchy snack that won’t sink my day into a potato chip-smeared-face comatose state. They are better than raisins, prunes or apricots with less sugar and the most of the same benefits of fruit. Happy munching!
